Following Up After the Interview

To follow up, send a short, personal thank you note to all individuals
you interviewed with. Send the note within a day or two of the
interview. Be sure to:


  * Thank the interviewer again for their time and consideration as well
as any information they shared.


  * Reiterate your interest in the job.


  * Remind the interviewer of why you are the best candidate by focusing
on your qualifications and strengths.


  * Include any important points you forgot or didn’t have a chance to
mention.


  * Offer to provide any additional material that may be needed.


  * Mention that you look forward to working with the company.

Once you have prepared and sent your thank you note to the interviewer,
no further follow-up is needed unless otherwise requested.
